Today I made a quinoa breakfast bowl which I have never ever had before and it was great!
The quinoa bowl I made today is an apple cinnamon almond bowl. This bowl reminds me of oats but a different flavor which is great to add more variety in what types of food I’m eating and another fun bowl to mix things up.
This bowl is really simple to make and all you’ll need is:
1/4 cup of Quinoa
handfull of Sliced Almonds
Unsweetened Almond Milk (amount to preference)
Cinnamon (amount to preference)
Raw Almond Butter (amount to preference)
I started making the bowl by first boiling my apples you can make your apples any way you like there that’s stovetop, in a pot, whatever you please!
Next, I added cinnAmon to the boiled apples and let them cook. I then cooked my quinoa. When the quinoa was almost done I added some apples in and mixed it together.
I saved some apples to top the quinoa with and then I added sliced almonds, cinnamon, and almond butter. I added almond milk after topping it and then I enjoyed this yummy bowl.
I am so happy and exciting I tried something new for breakfast and enjoyed it! I’m sure I’ll be making more quinoa breakfast bowls soon.
